Military Operations Managers
Pre-requisites
This course is intended for personnel with a working knowledge of the aviation industry and wildlife strikes.
What we offer
The purpose of the Airport Wildlife Management Training for Military Operations Managers is the training of people responsible for military airport operations with regards to airport wildlife management in order to reduce the number and severity of wildlife strikes at Canadian and International military airports (air force bases).
This is a comprehensive two-day course that meets or exceeds
Transport Canada CAR 302 and Airport Standards 322. The course is specially
tailored to military airports and draws on FES’ vast experience in the military
airport wildlife management field.
Learning outcomes:
The first day will be classroom lectures and discussions, the second will consist of hands-on exercises and demonstrations as well troubleshooting, discussions and case study workshops. Participants are invited to present airport wildlife management situations and problems found at their airport for discussion during the case study workshops. Guided by FES’ expert airport wildlife consulting team, the group will discuss the best solutions available for each case.
Certificate
All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.

Fee
Payment must be made when registering for courses. We reserve the right to cancel seven days prior to any course in which the minimum registration is not achieved. The price includes all participant materials, pre and posts activities, assessments and workshop refreshments. Participants will be responsible for their own lunch.
