NFPA 1031 Certification Program | Level II

FESTI is pleased to announce our 1031 Fire Inspector Level II certification course. This course has been created for individuals to pursue careers in the Fire Industry, Building Codes, Insurance loss prevention and high hazard facility management. Upon course completion, learners will have a high level of understanding for special hazards as outlined in the Fire Code and NFPA standards, skilled at site plan interpretation, and have the ability to perform field inspections applying Fire Code violations. Upon course completion learners will be given the opportunity to complete the 1031 Fire Inspector Level II exam. The final exam is based NFPA 1031 Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspectors and Plan Examiners 2014 Edition.

• Fire Code Div B Part 3 & 5 – Outdoor and Indoor Storage
• Fire Code Div B Part 4 – Flammable and Combustible Liquids
• NFPA 1031 Fire Inspector II Prep Course

Once all 3 courses have been successfully completed, over the course of three (3) months, learners can then register to write the final 1031 Inspector Level II exam arranged through FESTI, proctored by the OFM.

Certification Learning Objectives

FESTI’s NFPA 1031 is created and led by Gary Jarrett.  Gary has more than 30 years of fire prevention and inspection experience and understands the best way to teach this critical theory. 

This program is designed to teach students how to apply the concepts and skills of a fire inspector.

This is a required course as part of the NFPA 1031 level 1 certification program. The course reviews the prescriptive requirements of parts 3 and 5 of the OFC. This program is a required course for NFPA 1031 level 1 certification.
